19th BMBRI Triennial Barley Improvement Meeting

The 19th BMBRI Triennial Barley Improvement Meeting is scheduled to be held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, October 19, Wednesday, October 20 and Thursday, October 21, 2004.

Meeting location

The Triennial Barley Improvement Meeting will take place in the “Oak Room” of the Park Town Hotel, 924 Spadina Crescent East, Saskatoon.

Confirmation of attendance

We do need to know who will be attending in order to finalize arrangements, and ask that all who plan to attend let us know by Monday, September 20, 2004. Please also indicate whether or not you intend to attend the afternoon tours on Wednesday, October 20 – a head count is required to confirm our arrangements and space may be limited.

Hotel

A block of rooms is available to attendees at the Park Town Hotel, 924 Spadina Crescent East (306-244-5564 or 1-800-667-3999) at the rate of $79/night for a single or $87/night for a double. This rate is available for the nights of October 18, 19 and 20, please quote “BMBRI” when making your reservation. Please note, the hotel will hold this block of rooms until September 18; we strongly urge those of you planning to attend the Triennial Meeting to reserve early. The Park Town Hotel is within easy walking distance of the University of Saskatchewan. Attendees are responsible for their own room reservations and associated costs, along with their travel costs to and from Saskatoon, all breakfasts, and dinner on Wednesday evening.
